The object of the procurement is the comprehensive operation of public lighting systems in the municipality of Wedemark (approx. 4,300 light points), maintenance, repair and renewal of the lighting systems. The future contractor is to replace existing light spots with conventional light sources with efficient LED luminaire heads. In addition, the contractor should install a new lighting control system and operate it during the contract period. The contractor should provide a functional guarantee for the new LED luminaire heads and lighting control. The future contractor should also be commissioned with the individual services required for new construction, conversion, dismantling or modification of street lighting systems. The future contractor should, insofar as this is legally possible, be the plant manager with regard to the lighting systems and in particular ensure that malfunctions and failures that pose a threat to traffic safety or a risk to life and limb are eliminated immediately after knowledge or (unless possible) at least provisional measures are created to remedy the situation. For this purpose, the contractor should maintain a constant, telephone acceptance of information about malfunctions and failures.
