The purpose of this invitation to tender was to find supplier/suppliers to supply and implement web based technical solutions for the National Virtual Library (e-Hospital Library) for 16 Finnish Central Hospitals. This procurement included a web-scale discovery service including the link resolver, and the remote access authentication system. The procurement also included technical support for these products as well as implementation of the solutions and submitting subscriber’s e-resources to the systems. This procurement was divided in lots. The contracting authority selected one supplier per lot.
