The contract includes the implementation of active protection activities consisting in the removal of undergrowth of trees and shrubs with the removal of biomass in the Natura 2000 area of Peat bogs Oravsko - Nowotarskie PLC120003 in order to shape the appropriate structure of the following habitats: 7110 High peat bogs with peat-forming vegetation (live); 7120 High bogs degraded but capable of natural and stimulated regeneration; 7140 Transitional bogs and bogs (mostly with vegetation from Scheuchzerio-Caricetea).

1. The contract covers the implementation of active protection activities consisting in the removal of undergrowth of trees and shrubs with the removal of biomass in the Natura 2000 site Peat bogs Oravsko - Nowotarskie PLC120003 in order to shape the appropriate structure of the following habitats: 7110 Peatlands with peat-forming vegetation (live); 7120 High bogs degraded but capable of natural and stimulated regeneration; 7140 Transitional bogs and bogs (mostly with vegetation from Scheuchzerio-Caricetea). 2. The Contracting Authority provides for the execution of active protection activities on patches of natural habitats on the area of: 1) 71.19 ha, on which the works carried out by the previous Contractor in the period January – February 2023 should be completed in accordance with the "Description of activities performed so far" constituting Annex 8 to the Description of the Subject of the Contract; 2) 36.81 ha, on which no work has been carried out so far, a complete scope of work should be carried out. The works were planned on parts of cadastral plots numbered 14732, 14734, 14735 and 14736 located within Czarny Dunajec, Czarny Dunajec commune. The location of the planned activities is presented on the maps constituting Annexes 1 – 6 to the Description of the Subject of the Contract. 3. When carrying out the work, the indications contained in the Pre-Executive Expertise for the Natura 2000 area of the Oravsko-Nowotarskie Peat Bogs PLC120003 (formerly PLH120016) should be used, which constitutes Annex 7 to the Description of the Subject of the Contract. 4. Details, the scope of the subject of this order is specified in Annex 8 to the SWZ – Description of the Subject of the Order (OPZ). 5. The Contracting Authority shall require that manual workers directed by the Contractor or subcontractor to perform the following activities: works falling within the scope of the contract consisting in the removal of undergrowth of trees and shrubs with the removal of biomass, be employed on the basis of an employment relationship. The above does not apply to the situation when the Contractor independently performs the contract.
