The tender includes the delivery of visited passenger transport to Ikast-Brande Municipality's units and institutions.

The tender concerns the provision of both ad hoc as well as permanently searched passenger transport services to the contracting entity's entities and institutions, including specialised passenger transport, which represents a larger share of the service. The tenderer must handle the route planning and carry out the service in the most optimal way for the contracting entity, i.e. carpooling must take place where this can optimize the service within the described framework.

The task includes driving with citizens, both adults and children, who are unable to use public transport. These are citizens who have physical or mental disabilities. There are citizens who are wheelchair users who need to be transported in a trolley with a lift and who need a lot of help. Some citizens bring walking aids, such as walkers. There are citizens who become insecure when entering and leaving and therefore need help with this. Some citizens need to be followed to/from the outer door of the home etc. Some citizens have a significant permanent disability and may have consequential disabilities such as paralysis, epilepsy, autism, blindness and deafness. In addition, some citizens have an impulse-driven and unresponsive behavior. Some citizens have no verbal language. High demands are therefore placed on the performance of the service.
