Invitation to tender Service contingent KHZG consulting - Support of the implementation of the KHZG program at the Ostalb Clinics
1. Initial situation
The Kliniken Ostalb gkAöR is an independent company of the Ostalbkreis district in the legal form of a non-profit municipal institution under public law. The seat of the municipal institution is Aalen. In addition to high-quality all-round care for the population, the hospital network also offers special medical services at a top level. It consists of three clinic locations (Ostalb-Klinikum Aalen, St. Anna-Virngrund-Klinik Ellwangen, Stauferklinikum Schwäbisch Gmünd) as well as a vegetative state care facility. With over 1,100 beds and approximately 50,000 inpatients and 100,000 outpatients treated annually, Kliniken Ostalb is not only the top healthcare provider in the region, but also one of the largest employers in the district with over 3,000 employees.
Within the framework of the provisions of the Hospital Future Act (KHZG), the Ostalb Clinics have applied for funding of approximately 11.3 million euros, which are to be used to implement a total of 18 individual projects in six funding portfolios.
2. Mission and goal
The Ostalb Clinics intend to commission external support as part of the planned programme to implement the requirements of the Hospital Future Act (KHZG).
The content of the order is a consulting service in the implementation of the individual projects within the program in the areas of target conception, requirement catalogs, detailed conception, rollout including training planning, program and change management as well as program control and monitoring and project controlling. The start of the service is to take place as soon as possible, the duration is planned for the entire further duration of the implementation phase, which is currently planned until the end of 2024.
The aim of the order is to implement the requirements anchored in the KHZG in the Ostalb Clinics within the planned duration of the programme. In addition, the basis for a medium- and long-term optimization of the workflow organization in the company is to be created and the change in the thinking and actions of the workforce, which is necessary for the successful implementation of the digitization process, is to be initiated.
