The range includes sorting, transport and disposal of slag for recycling.
The task is to have the raw slag from the waste energy plant / incinerator sorted and subsequently the sales slag and the iron / metal fraction must be disposed of for recycling.
The supplier has the opportunity to choose freely between transporting all the slag to a stationary plant or to sort it with mobile plants.
In relation to the task offered, it is a minimum requirement that the Supplier owns / has his own slag sorting plant.
The offer includes collection, sorting, transport and recovery of the crude slag from the waste energy plant / incinerator.
Handling of slag is regulated by the Ordinance on the use of residual products, land and sorted building and construction waste (the residual product decree), BEK No. 1672 of 15.12.2016.
The waste energy plant / incineration plant produces approx. 45 000 tonnes of crude slag corresponding to approx. 18% of the amount of waste fired. The waste energy plant / incinerator expects to increase the tonnage in the coming years, from approx. 240,000 tons to 260,000 tons. Thus, the amount of crude slag will increase by approx. 4 000 tonnes per year year.
Today approx. 3,400 tonnes of iron and metal, while approx. 800 tons are unburned and delivered for incineration. The raw slag is wet when it enters the slaughterhouse, which is why part of the slag will be water. Today, approx. 30,000 tonnes of mature slag from the waste / incineration plant.
However, the actual quantity during the period will depend on the actual operating hours, the composition of the waste and the result of the work on increasing the capacity of the plant, etc., so some variation in the total quantity is expected.
