Open tender, entirely managed electronically, relating to the maintenance services of endothermic engines of RFI S.p.A. ferries in service in the Strait of Messina.

As regards labour costs, it has a percentage incidence of 86.13% of the basic tender amount.

The benefits covered by the contract include:

- maintenance of the heads;

- plunger maintenance;

- maintenance of the shirts;

- maintenance of towed and non-towed pumps (lubrication oil pumps, naphtha thrust, injection, water cooling, etc.);

- maintenance of shell and tube and plate refrigerants (oil, air and water);

- maintenance of turbo-blowers;

- maintenance of exhaust manifolds;

- maintenance of dampers;

- disassembly, cleaning, revision and reassembly of engine components.

The following types of intervention are also envisaged:

- Maintenance interventions during ordinary ship stop for operating account work;

- Emergency interventions that could result in the immediate detention of the ship;

- Interventions during scheduled ship stop for extraordinary maintenance work.

The award procedure is called pursuant to Legislative Decree 50/2016 (Public Contracts Code) and Presidential Decree 207/2010 — limited to the rules still in force pursuant to art. 216 of Legislative Decree 50/2016.
