The government will simplify the initiative system, facilitate increased diversity of service providers of work orientated services and a better and more varied service offer to users An important part of this is the decision to merge the clarification and follow-up initiative from 1.1.2015. The amendment regulation dated 17.10.2014 means that the initiatives clarification and clarification in protected entities are merged to 1 clarification initiative and the initiatives follow-up and work with assistance are merged to one follow-up initiative. The alteration is a part of mobilising more suppliers and employers in ordinary work life who can offer job seekers an initiative place or a job. The regulation also includes a transition scheme for the initiatives that shall be phased out.

The aim of the project is to examine whether the new clarification and follow-up initiatives contribute to:

— An increased diversity of suppliers.

— An improved and more varied service offer for users.

— Simplification of the initiative system.
