Bergen municipality has engaged an engineering design group, which has designed a sketch project and which shall follow-up the project in the construction and claims phase. It is a prerequisite that the turnkey contractor engages its own engineer designers, possibly with the exception of ARK, which the builder has an option to transport for the complete engineering design services for H0370 Råstølen nursing home. A final decision on whether the option will be taken up will be taken before the tender documentation is sent out.

H0370 Råstølen nursing home shall fulfil the energy requirements for a passive building.

A decision must be made, when requesting participation, on whether pre-qualification is wanted for H0370 Råstølen nursing home carried out as a ‘Main Projectt’ and/or the ‘TRE-project’. U2320 Råstølen volleyball hall will be included for both alternatives.

When a decision is made on whether H0370 shall be carried out as a ‘Main Project’ or ‘TRE-project’, the award criteria (including, amongst other things, C02 and LCC) will be designed in such a way that an allowance is made, within the given frameworks, for the environmental advantages of the ‘TRE-project’ even if this will have a higher investment cost.
