The subject matter of the FWC is the provision of digitisation and related services.

The major tasks involved are the following:

— T1: preparation of the original documents for scanning and OCR/ICR,

— T2: scanning, production of OCR/ICR layers and production of electronic files,

— T3: indexation of scanned documents, mainly creation of basic (‘core’) metadata to be provided in electronic format.
