The contract concerns the supply of 12 new electric buses for the urban public transport service. The contract is financed with funds from the National Operational Programme for Metropolitan Cities (PON Metro 2014.2020) and with additional ERDF REACT-EU and ESF REACT-EU funds. The vehicles purchased will be granted for use to Autolinee Toscane Spa, current manager of the urban LPT service, through a loan for use contract that will govern the relations between the parties and the conditions of use of the goods, for a time equal to the duration of the service concession between the Tuscany Region and said manager, at the end of which the means, as essential assets, they will be made available to the incoming operator for their residual useful life, i.e. for the entire amortization period of 15 years as required by Annex 4 to Ministerial Decree no. 157 of 28 March 2018.

The contract concerns the supply of 12 new electric buses for the urban public transport service. The basic amount of the contract is € 4,560,000.00, excluding VAT 22%. The estimated amount is € 5,915,000.00 including the estimated amount of € 380,000.00, excluding VAT, for the purchase of an additional vehicle that the contracting authority reserves the right to exercise within 90 days of the effective award, and the amount of € 900,000.00 plus € 75,000.00, excluding VAT, for the purchase of a full service maintenance contract for the 12 vehicles purchased, as well as for the vehicle that can be purchased in option, whose right to purchase is delegated to the service manager.
