The school center Oher Weg Glinde is home to the grammar school and the Sönke-Nissen community school. Both schools share a school building. The school building is a Kassel model from the 1970s.
In 2016, a pollutant register was drawn up for the building. The present pollutant report shows that pollutants are present.
Detached from the rest of the building, only the NAWI area is to be refurbished and converted in terms of harmful substances for the time being.
1. Reconstruction of the natural science area
According to the type of construction, all interior walls in the area to be considered are designed as lightweight walls attached between the floor and the suspended ceiling.
There is currently no legal obligation to expand these pollutants, but after consultation with the municipal committees, it was decided to follow the recommendations of the pollutant register and to remediate all relevant pollutants.
In 2019/2020, the city of Glinde had a preliminary study (phase 0) carried out as a basic assessment. The draft developed as part of the preliminary study should form the basis for further planning. The result was a conversion area of approx. 1,535 sqm GFA, expected total costs of approx. 2.4 million EUR / gross and construction costs including a pollutant remediation of approx. 1.8 million EUR / gross (KG 300/400). The costs are an initial rough cost estimate.
