As part of its activities, STIB uses a delivery service provider for mail (ex: documents) and for all its parcels.
As the STIB does not have sufficient means of transport to quickly transfer parts of vehicles from one of its sites to another of its sites or one of its sites to a third-party company, it uses an external service provider .
In the course of its commercial activities, urgent deliveries of mail (eg documents) must also be organized.
The STIB services are spread over a very large number of sites scattered throughout the territory of the Brussels-Capital region, including the city center of Brussels.
Collection sites: 22 STIB sites located in the Brussels-Capital Region.
Destinations: 81% Brussels-Capital region, around 12% in Belgium (excluding Brussels) and 7% in foreign countries.
The volumes, the weights and the packaging methods of the goods to be delivered are very variable (envelopes, parcels, crates, pallets ...). This is why the service provider must be able to adapt to these different types of packaging.
The service provider must also have a computer system that will enable STIB, via the STIB's own SAP system, to order an online transport.
Basic offer: the hours of service of the customer service provider expected by the STIB are from 8:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
