Description:
Management of municipal waste from properties inhabited in the Municipality of Strawczyn in 2024

Management of municipal waste directly from all properties inhabited in the Municipality of Strawczyn in a way that ensures the achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for reuse and recovery by other methods and reduction of the mass of biodegradable waste sent to landfill in accordance with the provisions of law in this area. Waste management includes municipal waste collected separately and mixed. A detailed description and method of implementation is described in Chapter III of the Terms of Reference: Description of the subject of the contract

Municipal waste will be managed in a way that ensures the achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for re-use and recovery by other methods of waste fraction – specified in this respect in generally applicable law, including the Act of 13 September 1996 on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1469) and implementing acts to this Act.

1. The delivery of waste shall be documented by the Contractor. Each entry will be registered and confirmed by a document containing the date of importation, type, code and weight of the waste, vehicle registration number and delivery identification data. A copy of the above-mentioned document is given to the waste supplier's driver during the delivery of each batch of waste.

2. In the framework of documenting the management services of waste from inhabited properties covered by this contract and in connection with the reporting requirements set out in the Municipalities Maintenance of Cleanliness and Order Act, the operator of the service shall be obliged to:

1) weighing all municipal waste delivered on a legalized automotive weight;

2) storing documents confirming the weighing referred to in point 1) and providing the Contracting Authority with monthly reports (provided in paper form) containing the quantities of waste collected (resulting from the information contained in the BDO system); 3) keeping records of waste delivered for management as part of the performance of the contract with the Ordering Party, in accordance with the provisions of law.

3. The service will be billed on a monthly basis on the basis of the total mass of mixed municipal waste accepted for management and the weight of waste collected selectively from property owners in accordance with the applicable regulations

4. Settlement for the performance of the subject of the contract will be made each time after the end of the calendar month, on the basis of a properly issued VAT invoice submitted to the Contracting Authority together with a monthly report (provided in paper form), containing the amount of municipal waste accepted (resulting from the information contained in the BDO system).

5. The Contractor shall submit the report referred to in point 4 broken down by mixed waste and segregated waste by individual fractions.

6. The Contractor shall forward to the Contracting Authority all required reports set out in applicable waste management regulations within the time limits indicated by the law.
