In Friedhofsweg 4 in Schönberg, there was a major fire damage event in Feb. 2021 within the Probstei Community School, in which a school building from the 70s was destroyed and adjacent buildings were partly severely damaged.
Repairable building damage has already been repaired, the heavily destroyed class wing has already been dismantled and disposed of. After an interruption and occasional impairments due to restructuring of the premises and after the construction of an interim classroom container facility, school operations are running properly again.
As a replacement building, the new construction of two 2-storey class wings will take place from summer 2022, which stand angular to each other, reconnect the adjacent existing buildings.
