Strand municipality will enter into a 2-year framework agreement with a possible option for a 1+1 year extension for the delivery of groceries to smaller entities in the municipality, such as nurseries, home economics kitchens, units for health and welfare, administration, etc.

The contract is split into 2 lots (geographical zones). Tenders may be submitted for both of the lots.

The lots will be evaluated according to size (based on approximate consumption in 2022), the largest first, in this order of priority:

Approximate annual consumption per zone from 2022

Jørpeland - NOK 3,000,000 excluding VAT.

Tau/Fiskå - NOK 760,000 excluding VAT.

The companies will have the option to have groceries delivered two days per week under this framework agreement. These days will be set after commencement of the contract.

The framework agreement includes deliveries to the following entities (the list is not limited nor does this represent any obligation):

Jørpeland 

- 3 nurseries, with delivery 1-2 times per week

- 2 schools, with delivery 1-2 times per week

- 7 units within health and care services, with deliveries 1-2 times per week

- 24 smaller companies with deliveries on an as-needed basis. 

Tau/Fiskå

- 2 nurseries, with delivery 1-2 times per week

- 3 schools, with delivery 1-2 times per week

- 1 unit within health and care services, with deliveries 1 time per week

- 1 smaller company with deliveries on an as-needed basis.

The school milk and school fruit schemes are not included in this contract.

In the case of bread and bakery products, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to act outside this agreement. However, it is preferable to have a discount agreement on bread in place. Please indicate any discounts in the Offer Letter.
