Oslo Municipality, c/o the districts Gamle Oslo, Sagene and St. Hanshaugen district, henceforth referred to as the contracting authority, calls for an open tender contest for the operation and management of parks and squares in Gamle Oslo district, St. Hanshaugen district, and Sagene district.

The three districts administer numerous parks and squares and are responsible for their operation and maintenance.

The management of the local city parks is a year-round task with various tasks related to the different operating seasons. This includes, for example, services such as lawn mowing, waste management, operation of playgrounds, operation of fountains and mirror pools, plant care, general supervision tasks, ploughing and gritting, as well as operation of an artificial ice rink and natural surfaces, etc.

A separate service description has been prepared for each park in the three districts. The service description indicates how the individual park is to be operated and managed, including which tasks are to be performed, the scope of the tasks and the quality requirements thereof.

The assignment consists of 71 large and small parks, squares, green areas, local community facilities and so forth. The facilities are important living and recreation areas for the people of Oslo, and important green lungs in the districts. The facilities included in the contract must appear as attractive as possible.
