As a result of the expiry of current agreements, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is going to tender ‘Data delivery services for cost of living, location rating and housing’. The purpose of the tendering process is to conclude an agreement with one (1) or two (2) service providers for data delivery services. The intention is for both agreements to commence on 1 December.

We have divided the tendering process into two (2) lots. These lots are:

1) Lot 1: Data on ‘Cost of Living Indices’ and ‘Location Rating Data’;

2) Lot 2: Data Regarding the ‘Costs of Accommodation per Location’ (Housing).

Data on ‘Cost of Living Indices’ and ‘Location Rating Data’. This data is used to ensure that the posted employee can live in the same way that he or she was used to at home. He or she is also compensated for the control of expenses that arise from the living and working conditions at the place of work and from the transferability. A detailed description of both cost of living indices and location rating data has been added as Annex I.

Data regarding the Costs of Accommodation per Location. This concerns standard amounts for rents and the additional costs of housing consisting of gas, water, electricity, service costs and local taxes. The data must, among other things, take into account family composition and a certain job level. A detailed description of the housing policy has been added as Annex J.
