The Council, together with neighbouring local authorities including: Amber Valley Borough Council and North Warwickshire Borough Council are seeking to appoint a number of principle contractors to a Framework Agreement to support the Council's: in-house repairs team, building control and planning services, public buildings services, leisure and any other department requiring these services.

The Scheme relates to general Building works, including day to day repairs, cleaning services and maintenance requirements to the Councils housing stock (3 000 in South Derbyshire). Providing maintenance services to the Councils Public Buildings, including the Civic Offices and any other support services to the Councils varied departments, this will also include for out of hours emergency services.
