New Edith-Stein-Schule as a primary school with orientation level, nursery and sports hall in 19288 Ludwigslust, Friedrich-Naumann-Allee 20; Lot 4.03 — sanitary and heating installation.
The new Edith Stein Elementary School is divided into 3 staggered structures. Of these, 2 buildings are planned to be three-storey and the sports hall section is planned to be two-storey. Shallow pitched gable roofs were chosen as the roof shape, which are at ridge height below the ridge height of the buildings in the street.
All roof constructions are made with roof truss constructions made of wood according to statics.
The roof is insulated at the level of the roof truss lower chord. The lower chord is clad with a vapor barrier and plasterboard cladding in accordance with the fire protection concept.
The atrium and the gymnasium will have roof skylights with ventilation and smoke extraction functions for lighting and ventilation. In the atrium, a daylight spot is also arranged in front of the technical room door.
The roof ducts are integrated into the roof area with built-in parts.
The roof structure consists of a vapor-diffusion-open roof membrane with counter and roof battens and a colored sheet metal roof covering in a standing seam look. It is planned to install an integrated photovoltaic system on the roof of the classroom wing.
The roof drainage takes place via external gutters and downpipes. Individual fall protection anchor points for hooking into personal protective devices are planned on the roof in accordance with the standard. Snow guards and components for the lightning protection system are also provided. The building structure is protected by an external lightning protection system in accordance with VDE 0 185.
