The purpose of this contract is, in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in these special specifications, the conclusion of a framework agreement, with a single tenderer, for the supply, for a period of four years from the conclusion of the contract, of 29% caustic soda for use in the treatment of fumes and water from the contracting authority's waste-to-energy centre.

The present contract consists of the supply and delivery of caustic soda at 29%.

This contract is intended to be delivery and unloading by the tenderer or his agent.
