This relates to the co-ordination of a national survey of Hen Harriers in Ireland. The 2015 survey like the previous national surveys will rely heavily on volunteer networks to submit breeding records. The role of the survey co-ordinator is to promote the uptake of this survey by volunteers and to produce scientifically robust population estimates at both the site level and the national level.
