The assignment concerns an assignment for services and relates to the cleaning, disposal and optional transport and treatment of asbestos-contaminated museum objects of the Open Air Museum Bokrijk housed in a warehouse in Zonhoven.

The assignment concerns an assignment for services and relates to the cleaning, disposal and optional transport and treatment of asbestos-contaminated museum objects of the Open Air Museum Bokrijk housed in a warehouse in Zonhoven.

The contract includes the following components:

- Cleaning a selection of museum objects in accordance with the safety requirements regarding asbestos contamination and covering the museum objects for transport;

- The disposal of the rest of the museum objects in accordance with the safety requirements regarding asbestos contamination;

- Making the museum objects to be removed unrecognizable by removing the present object number;

- Optional: Transporting the museum objects to be preserved to other storage locations of the Open Air Museum Bokrijk;

- Optional: Treating the museum objects to be preserved against wood-drilling insects.

The end result is that all objects have been removed from the warehouse in Zonhoven, whereby the objects to be preserved are brought to other Bokrijk depots. The objects to be disposed of have been transported to a licensed landfill in accordance with the necessary safety requirements, and whose object number is no longer legible/present.
