Civil engineering works for district heating, district cooling and gas

The contract is a framework agreement with associated EAT works that mainly concern land and civil engineering works for new construction, but also repair and reconstruction of the distribution network for district heating and cooling and gas pipelines. The main work is with district heating, however, the laying of district heating pipes and parts in pipeline shafts is carried out by another side contractor.

Concrete work adjacent to existing district heating chambers may occur.

Scope of procurement

The contract is a framework agreement with associated EAT works that mainly concern land and civil engineering works for new construction, but also repair and reconstruction of the distribution network for district heating and cooling and gas pipelines. The main work is with district heating, however, the laying of district heating pipes and parts in pipeline shafts is carried out by another side contractor.

Concrete work adjacent to existing district heating chambers may occur.

The scope of a project usually ranges from 5 meters of pipeline up to 300 meters of conduction. Likewise, the time on a project can vary from one working day to continuous work of three to four months.

The contractor shall carry out land and civil engineering works. The works are located in Ängelholm and Helsingborg in the first place, but can also take place in other places where Öresundskraft operates gas networks.

The contract in Helsingborg is assumed to amount to approximately SEK 15,000,000 – 20,000,000 / year where the number of objects is estimated at about 100 pcs / year divided into:

approx: 10% chamber revisions and approx: 30% copper pipe culvert which mainly occurs at service connections and distribution lines in residential areas.

The remaining part is covered by steel pipe culverts for district heating, also some PE pipeline work for district cooling and gas may occur.

The total may fall outside the specified ranges.

The contract in Ängelholm is assumed to amount to approximately SEK 3,000,000 – 5,000,000 per year. The total may fall outside the specified ranges.

The contract includes preparedness outside regular working hours. Scope about 2-5 interventions per year and mainly refers to acute leaks.

For individual major projects with a scope of three million SEK or more, the client reserves the right to make separate procurements. Scope refers to the total value of earthworks, pipe laying and associated works, pipe material and associated work, etc.

There may be larger projects that will be run as collaborative projects with incentives. Which and scope are decided by Öresundskraft AB

The maximum volume for the framework agreement is SEK 250,000,000. When purchases on this agreement amount to the maximum volume, Öresundskraft has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate termination. The maximum volume should not be confused with the estimated scope of the procurement.

The contract period is planned for 2 years with the possibility for Öresundskraft to extend the agreement for up to 4 years, on one or more occasions. Maximum contract period is 6 years
