The Department of International Development (DFID) would like to notify interested parties of an upcoming requirement for a Study on Fiscal Burden in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).The study intends to understand the level and types of infomal/illegal taxation on citizens in DRC by surveying respondents in 2/3 provinces. Results and analysis from the study will be used to inform strengthening of domestic revenue collection and donor policies promoting decentralisation and capacity building at provincial levels. The proposed budget for this project is set at 450 000 GBP and we anticipate that the project length to be 4 months commencing in January/February 2015.
