NHS Calderdale, Greater Huddersfield and North Kirklees CCGs are seeking to procure a Wheelchair service to carry out assessments and to supply and maintain wheelchairs.

The service will be required to demonstrate:

— A commitment to providing for the holistic needs of the service user in every aspect of service delivery (i.e. clinical lifestyle, social, educational),

— Design and delivery of services that are personalised, with the service user at the heart of what they do,

— An ongoing expectation of quality and service improvement and innovation demonstrated by the provider(s),

— Continued professional development among staff demonstrated by provider(s),

— A commitment to, and evidence from the provider of excellent service user experience, and involvement,

— A strong commitment to partnership working with related services and the voluntary sector,

— A modern IT system with the ability to accurately record and track activity,

— A focus on value for money.
