The framework agreement covers the redevelopment and renewal of the sewage system and drinking water system in Horsens South. Overall, the work includes sewerage separation of approx. 650 plots by replacing existing common pipes and establishment of new rain and wastewater pipes in approx. 2400 m common trench and approx. 3000 m in single pit as well as establishment of approx. 5000 m new drinking water pipes.

The tender is conducted as a negotiated procedure in accordance with the Danish Civil Code. The Utilities Directive with prior prequalification.

The tendered framework agreement includes turnkey contracts performed according to partnering principles in connection with the separation of rain and wastewater through the establishment of new public drainage pipes incl. wells and connectors in Horsens South, including the establishment of sand traps and pipe basins as well as the replacement of drinking water in connection with the establishment of new public supply lines and connectors. The assignment is offered by Horsens Vand A/S, v/ Samn Forsyning ApS. Samn Forsyning ApS handles operation and administration of water supply and wastewater on behalf of Horsens Vand A/S. The tendered framework agreement is expected to enter into force in December 2023 and has a duration of 8 years, although the sub-projects under the framework agreement are expected to be carried out within an approx. 7-year period from expected contract conclusion to April 2030, cf. the main schedule. However, the agreement can be terminated at any time by Horsens Vand with a notice of 3 months.

As a starting point, the value of work carried out under the framework agreement is estimated at DKK 93.5 million excl. VAT over the entire duration of the framework agreement, or an average of approx. DKK 16 million excl. VAT per year, although production in the first year and last year has been reduced.

However, the value may vary depending on the specific subprojects. The value of the maximum purchase over the entire term of the framework agreement is set at DKK 125 million excl. VAT, cf. clause II.2.6.
