The mathematics exam for tenth grade shall be assessed in the period 2017 — 2019. How teachers and sensors assess the relationship between the teaching plan, teaching and the mathematics exams and the exam's degree of difficulty shall be investigated. How the students experience the exam shall also be investigated. Two annual reports and an end report shall be presented for the project. The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training will undertake an investigation of the degree of difficult of the exam with annual calibration tests, analysis of senior reliability and carry out IRT analysis. This data and analyses will be made available for the evaluation assignment, so that the investigations directed to sensors, teachers and students can be assessed against the results from these analyses.
