The cantonal road no. 11 leads from the cantonal border AR in the municipality of Wald via St.Peterzell and Wasserfluh to Lichtensteig. The road condition is classified as insufficient in the area east of the pass height Wasserfluh and therefore needs to be rehabilitated. Dürrenbach 1-5 outlets are located in the road construction project perimeter. A flood safety assessment showed that all other passages, with the exception of Dürrenbach 2, do not meet hydraulic specifications. In addition, some passages are in a defective condition. The passages have to be replaced by a new building. Local repair work is only carried out when Dürrenbach 2 pass through.
