The contract includes a takeover of maintenance responsibility for the contracting entity's CMS from the contracting entity's current supplier and subsequent further development thereof. In addition, the contract includes the development of two initial development cycles.
The contract includes taking over the maintenance responsibility of the contracting entity's CMS (the System, see also Appendix 0 for definition) from the contracting entity's current supplier and subsequent further development thereof. In addition, the contract provides for the completion of two initial development cycles;
- Library communication, which implements the last functionality before the client's new CMS is ready to be used by public libraries
- The Children's Project, which establishes a separate web solution based on the same System
Subsequent further development is delivered and put into production on the basis of Development processes, which are carried out as agile development processes.
The source code that forms the basis of the System is based on Open Source and is available via GitHub. Please refer to Appendix 2 of the Contract for further information on source code and documentation and the supplier's access to it prior to submitting an offer.
The contract thus aims to support close cooperation between the contracting entity and the prospective supplier, ensuring an efficient use of the contracting entity's investments in order to meet the business needs reflected in the contract's requirements for the first development processes and thereafter continuously during the contract period.
The contract runs for eight years.
