The plan is to build a fire and rescue station with sheds for emergency vehicles of the Hamburg professional fire brigade. The building has storage, technical and recreation rooms on up to 3 floors in connection with single-storey vehicle halls as well as two washing halls. The building does not have a basement and will be constructed mainly in reinforced concrete, the vehicle hall with a steel roof construction with fire protection coating. The vertical access is via 3 stairwells and various slide shafts. On the 2nd floor, sports rooms and a gastro kitchen are also planned.
The building comprises around 5,600 m² GFA with dimensions of up to 95 x 40 m on a plot area of around 14,000 m². The building does not have a basement.
Furthermore, a 22 m high training tower will be built.
The construction site is located in HH-Finkenwerder on Aluminiumstraße between a petrol station to the north and the aluminium plants to the south, whose conveyor bridge spans the property to the east. Access to Aluminiumstraße is via Finkenwerder Straße.
The flat roofs will be extensively greened and prepared for the installation of photovoltaics, while the facing stone facades will receive large-scale climbing greenery. The building will receive various ventilation systems; Heating is provided by underfloor or industrial underfloor heating with heat pumps as well as deep geothermal boreholes.
In addition to driving areas for emergency vehicles, a 22m high training tower, a sports field and car parking spaces are planned on the site. Rainwater and dirty water are disposed of via infiltration on the property, sometimes with the upstream connection of a coalescence separator or grease separator.
Lot 1 - PlumbingThe specifications for sanitation, heating include:
- Lot 1 - Plumbing
Essential works LOT 1 Sanitary:
The domestic waste water is drained from all floors on a free slope. The downpipes and collectors are provided in installation shafts and suspended ceilings. Below the base plate, underground pipes collect the drop lines and drain them into the outdoor facilities.
In the sheds and in the washing hall, where the fire and rescue vehicles are parked, collection channels with a dirty water connection to a separator system are provided.
The separator system is part of the LV Outdoor Facilities. Boot washing facilities are provided for cleaning the boots. In order to support compliance with drinking water hygiene in the best possible way, hygienic flushes are provided in the drinking water line. Fatty wastewater is disposed of via a separate pipe system.
Drainage pipes below the raw floor are carried out by the "outdoor facilities" trade.
Water systems
Versorgungsdruck:
A drinking water connection through Hamburg Wasser is not possible due to the location of the building.
Two storage tanks with respective pressure boosting systems are planned.
Hot water supply:
Hot water is heated by a central fresh water station. The hot water is distributed via looped pipes.
General
The distribution to the consumers on the ground floor, ZG and 1st floor is mainly via the ceiling area of the mezzanine.
Stainless steel with appropriate press connections is provided as the piping material.
The shower rooms will receive walk-in showers.
To the east of axis 12, pouring basins and washbasins are occasionally provided on the ground floor. These are not supplied with hot water from the fresh water station, but via decentralised electric instantaneous water heaters. The instantaneous water heaters have 3.5 kW of electrical power to generate hot water.
Pumi rooms receive only cold water
Lot 2 - HeatingThe specifications for sanitation, heating include:
- Lot 2 - Heating
Essential works LOT 2 heating:
The building is heated by 2 brine-water heat pumps.
Wärmeverteilnetz:
The heat distribution is carried out in the heating center on the mezzanine floor.
The plant technology is designed for a common low-temperature system
The following consumers are envisaged:
Water heating, heating circuit 1
Industrial surface heating, heating circuit 2
Underfloor heating, heating circuit 3
Ventilation system 1, heating circuit 4
Ventilation system 2, heating circuit 5
Water heating, heating circuit 1
The hot water heating system is approved immediately after WP 1 and feeds two buffer tanks, each with 1000 litres of heating water
In the upper area of each buffer vessel there is an electric cartridge that enables a storage dispensing temperature of 70 °C.
The fresh water station, which is set up as a cascade, is fed from the buffer vessels of the water heating system.
Here, the drinking water is heated to 60 °C.
Industrial surface heating, heating circuit 2
The industrial surface heating is used in the sheds.
The coils are installed in the raw floor between the lower probation and the upper probation.
This work is carried out in coordination with the bodybuilder.
Underfloor heating, heating circuit 3
In the remaining areas with heat requirements, underfloor heating is laid on a studded panel.
Underfloor heating circuit manifolds are provided and ensure a uniform heat supply (hydraulic balancing)
Surfaces without heat demand are kept at the necessary temperature by the surrounding rooms and do not receive underfloor heating
Ventilation system 1, heating circuit 4
Ventilation system with heat recovery on the roof.
Q= 48.6 kW
Ventilation system 2, heating circuit 5
Ventilation system with heat recovery on the roof.
Q= 18.6 kW
