The Community of Communes of the Coastal Centre exercises the competence to manage and collect household waste throughout its territory (Cayenne, Macouria, Matoury, Montsinéry-Tonnegrande, Rémire-Montjoly, Roura).
The waste collection service includes:
1) A service for the collection of household garbage and door-to-door recyclables;
2) A service for the collection of bulky and green waste;
3) A voluntary intake column glass collection service;
4) A waste service: two waste mills in operation in Remire-Montjoly and Cayenne and two others in safe programming in Macouria and Matoury. This contract concerns only those points 1 and 2 referred to above are the subject of the contract. The services covered by the contract are carried out in the six member municipalities of the Community of Communes of the Centre Littoral: Cayenne, Macouria, Matoury, Montsinery-Tonnégrande, Rémire-Montjoly, Roura.
