East and North Hertfordshire CCG are intending to procure a minor injury service at Cheshunt Community Hospital, via an open process. In line with NHS England guidance it has been agreed that the minor injury service will form a key part of a primary/community care access hub at Cheshunt Community Hospital, therefore the provider will be expected to work cooperatively with other organisations across primary care, community and voluntary services. The minor injuries service will manage all self-presenting patients who arrive with a minor injury that is non-life or limb threatening and does not need intensive or specialist care.
