The agreement consists of the redesign of the Eindhovenseweg. The work consists mainly of:
- construction HOV job
- adjust intersections
- major maintenance of existing infrastructure
- adjustment speed regime of the existing road
- adaptation and installation of sewerage
- associated adaptations to cables and pipes
Due to the total length of the Eindhovenseweg of almost 4 kilometres, the work is divided into three main phases: north, middle and south. The specifications are in line with the main phases of the project. The municipality wants to have the work of the three main phases carried out by one contractor. That is why the work is tendered as a single assignment.
Work will start in April 2022, and the duration of execution is expected to be 2 years. The assignment ends when all work to be executed has been completed.

The work to be carried out lies within the municipality limits of the municipality of Waalre and are only under its responsibility. This assignment combines the underground work with redesigning the area in question. Many work is closely linked in the execution of the assignment. Because the work to be carried out within this contract is generic to the GWW sector, and because the total work is a single technical and economic whole, there is no merged contract on this basis.

Currently, there is no definitive design for the entire trajectory that can be translated into a cutlery. However, the municipality already wants to contract a contractor for the entire process. A regular agreement is not appropriate in this situation. The preliminary design is available. On this basis, a good estimate of the work carried out, materials and quantities can be made. A framework agreement thus provides the outcome in this situation. The municipality will then be able to decide what work it intends to carry out at a later time.
