The Brønnøysund Registers has established a cyber security programme to address deficiencies and implement improvements related to cyber security. One of the projects in this programme has been commissioned to procure a new backup and recovery system that will help strengthen our resilience against digital extortion (Ransomware attacks), in addition to handling traditional backup and recovery functionality. In accordance with this, the Brønnøysund Registers will enter into an agreement with one tenderer for the delivery of a new system for backup and recovery. The delivery must include all necessary software and appliance equipment, related support and maintenance services as well as necessary advisory and consultancy services.
