Open space planning and traffic facility planning for the greening of the Eggersten Ring in Kreuztal

The city of Kreuztal is planning to update the integrated urban development concept for the city centre of Kreuztal. One focus is on the continuation of urban renewal measures in the city centre. The continuation of the path connection from the city centre to the Fritz-Erler-Siedlung is to be completed as an important building block in the urban area. In addition to the reorientation of the traffic facilities, the greening of the Eggersten Ring with sustainable and climate-tolerant open spaces as well as two pocket parks is the main objective of the planning.
