On behalf of its partner Jätekukko Oy, Sansia Oy will put out to tender the storage and transport of waste containers to destinations in the Jätekukko area, the transport of materials from the Pick-up Rooster service from that area to the Jätekukko sorting stations, and the maintenance services of the Jätekukko service points.

The acquisition is divided into 3 parts:

Part 1 Northern Region

Part 2 Central area of Kuopio

Part 3 Southern Region

One (1) vendor is selected for each section.

Tenders may be submitted in one or more instalments. However, the contracting entity shall limit the number of lots for which a tenderer may be selected. The tenderer may be selected for a maximum of two (2) areas. If the tenderer submits a tender for all areas, the tender must already be accompanied by information on which two areas the tenderer chooses in the event that the tender ranks first in all three areas.

As an exception to this rule: The contracting entity may waive the restriction recorded above if no other tenders have been received for the part that would be excluded from the winning tenderer as a result of the restriction. In this case, the contracting entity may select a tenderer for more than two areas or, at its discretion, suspend the subdivision on the grounds laid down in the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts.

The contract period is valid until further notice. The notice period for both parties is six (6) months and the termination must be made in writing.

The planned start time for the contract period is 1.9.2023.

The northern region includes: the areas of Juankoski, Nilsiä, Maaninga, Kaavi, Tuusniemi, Outokumpu, Nurmes, Valtimo, Rautavaara, Juuka, Lieksa and Siilinjärvi.

The estimated area required for storing waste containers is about 220 m2.

The central area of Kuopio includes: Kuopio central urban area

The southern area includes: the areas of Hiltulanlahti, Karttula, Tervo, Vesanto, Rautalampi, Suonenjoki, Konnevesi and Pieksämäki.
