The City of Ylöjärvi is building an extension of the school building in the Vuorentausta district near the city centre at Tornitie 1 Vuorentausta School as a KVR contract. The extension to be built will include facilities for pupils in grades 5-6 of the 3-series primary school (a total of 144 pupils), facilities for arts and crafts subjects, including a gymnasium and technical facilities. The building has 1-2 storeys and a useful area of approximately 1,645 hym². Tentatively, the construction time is estimated at 08 / 2023 - 06 / 2024.

In the project, a 1-2-storey extension will be built in connection with the old building to be renovated at Tornitie 1, 33430 Vuorentausta. The KVR contracts for the extension and the renovation part will be put out to tender as separate contracts. The extension will be built first and, once completed, will serve as a temporary space for the renovation.

In the space program, the extension has been sized for 144 primary school students (6 groups, about 24 pupils / group). The useful floor area of the building in the space programme is approximately 1,645 hym². In the extension of the school building, general education facilities for pupils in grades 5-6 will be planned, as well as facilities for arts and crafts subjects for music, visual arts, soft materials for handicrafts and physical education. The area of the gymnasium, which will be located in the extension, is 200 hym². The rest of the school's facilities are located in the main building, completed in 1995, where school work will continue normally during the construction of the extension.

The offer is given in 2 parts (the so-called 2-shell procedure). The plan proposal will be delivered anonymously in a package with a pseudonym (paper copies, memory stick) to Kuruntie 14, 33470 Ylöjärvi and via Tarjouspalvelu.fi by 15.05.2023. Plan proposals are scored based on qualitative evaluation criteria, after which the offer is opened. An offer containing the offer, the tenderer's contact information and the nickname will be given on the offer form through Tarjouspalvelu.fi on 15.05.2023.

Bids from eligible bidders are scored adding up the qualitative evaluation score of the plan proposal and the points obtained from the offer price.

The tender documents will be available from the SokoPro project bank as of 14.02.2023. A link to the project bank can be found through the Tarjouspalvelu.fi portal. The ground study report will be submitted at a later date.
