Collection, transport and treatment of used mattresses from Wallonia's public recyparcs

This is a joint contract awarded by SCRL COPIDEC on behalf of the following contracting authorities:

- Intercommunal IDELUX Environment

- Intercommunal BEP Environment

- Intercommunal InBW

- Intercommunal TIBI

- Intercommunal HYGEA

- Intercommunal INTRADEL

- Intercommunal IPALLE

- City of EUPEN

Collection, transport and treatment of mattresses

This contract consists of a service of collection, transport and treatment of used mattresses on all public recyparcs in Wallonia.

The Decree of the Walloon Government introducing an obligation to take back certain waste defines used mattresses as follows:

"Any mattress which the holder discards or intends or is required to discard."

Annex E lists the presumed quantities of used mattresses and the number of evacuations to be expected per recyparc, on the basis of the quantities... (see contract documents)
