Central DZPG activities such as cross-site human neuroimaging and the federative management of health cohorts will be coordinated from the UKJ. The structural prerequisites for these activities and the growing leadership role in large national translational networks with partners in science, industry and health care are to be created and bundled by the research building ICBS - Interdisciplinary Centre for the Research of Brain Circuits underlying Maladaptive Social Interaction.

This is a publicly funded research project according to § 91b GG in the implementation period 2022 to 2028. In this context, a new building is to be erected in the Landgrave area as a free-standing and compact structure with approx. 3,500 m² of equipped research and office space for currently 20 working groups as well as associated central movement areas.
