The assignment comprises operational and maintenance assignments with functional responsibility for some of the assignments. Statens vegvesen Region midt (the Norwegian Public Roads Administration Central Region) wants tender offers from contractors with the professional, technical and economical basis necessary for fulfilment of the contract. Furthermore, experience is required from equivalent works, for the execution of the above-mentioned contract work in accordance with the tender documentation. Refer to the supplementary provisions in the pre-qualification documentation.
The assignment includes operational and maintenance assignments with functional responsibility for some of the assignments on county roads and county foot/cycle paths with accompanying side facilities, side areas, equipment and installations in Ørland, Bjugn, Indre Fosen, Åfjord, Roan and Osen, in accordance with the road list given in chapter D2-V1.
The work will be settled by round sum for round sum processes, in accordance with amounts and unit prices for other processes such as daywork in accordance with the hourly rates for crew and machines.
The contract period is from 1.9.2019 to 31.8.2026 for all of the described assignments.
The builder has the option to extend the contract for 12 months, from 1.9.2026 until 31.8.2027.
The road network included in the contract (including arms and ramps) consists of:
From 1.9.2019 to 31.8.2021:
A total of 779,175 km roads, of which:
— 756,795 km county roads in Trøndelag,
— 22,38 km county foot/cycle paths in Trøndelag.
From 1.9.2021 to 31.8.2022:
A total of 876,43 km roads, of which:
— 849,179 km county roads in Trøndelag,
— 27,251 km county foot/cycle paths in Trøndelag.
The length of the road network has been changed as the following roads with the accompanying foot/cycle paths have been added to the contract:
— County road 755 Hp 06 km 19,859 up to and including all of Hp 08,
— All of county road 6834,
— All of county road 6838,
— All of county road 6836,
— All of county road 6842,
— All of county road 6840.
From 1.9.2022 to 31.8.2026:
A total of 871,969 km roads, of which:
— 844,718 km county roads in Trøndelag,
— 27,251 km county foot/cycle paths in Trøndelag.
The length of the road network has been changed as county road 720 has been extended to hp 05 km 9,027 with the accompanying foot/cycle path and county road 715 has been withdrawn to hp 17 km 0,150.
The traffic on the road network varies from approx. ADT 30 to approx. ADT 7500 and the expectation is an annual traffic growth of approx. 1,5 %.
The assignment mainly comprises routine operational assignments and minor maintenance assignments for the road network. The assignment also includes inspections and registrations, planning activities, stand-by for winter operations and general traffic flow, documentation, reports to the builder, information to the public and handling other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of the road network.
