Description:
Plastering and painting work - Markwaldschule, Mühlheim am Main

Plastering and painting work.

The planned construction site is currently part of the existing Markwaldschule primary school. The plan is to build the Markwaldschule elementary school as a two-storey building with no basement and a total length of

60.00 m and a width of 21.40 m. The building height is 7.90 m plus approx. 1.74 m for the ventilation system. The upper edge of the finished floor on the first floor of the new building (= 0.00 = 104.20 m above sea level) is between approx. +0.05 m and approx. -0.75 m below and above the current site. The new building is planned as a free-standing, rectangular building on the same property. The floors are connected to each other via a central staircase in the hall and 2 further staircases. An elevator is available to ensure accessibility.

On the ground floor there are the school administration and teachers' rooms, the caretaker's room in the entrance area, the student library, specialist classrooms and classrooms, the HLS technical room and a large music room that can also be used for meetings. On the upper floor there are, in addition to further class and group rooms, a teaching material room, the parents room,

As well as the technical room ELT. On both floors there are toilet facilities for students and teachers, a cleaning agent room, storage and archive areas.

Building construction / design

The building will be erected in a mixed construction with load-bearing solid components (reinforced concrete) and non-load-bearing wall structures in lightweight construction (e.g. timber frame construction). Columns, floor and ceiling slabs are made from reinforced concrete. A circumferential mullion-transom facade with extensive glazing will be implemented on the ground floor. The facade on the upper floor is designed as a rear-ventilated facade with window openings of different sizes. The glass surfaces have integrated sun protection. The roof is designed as a flat sloping solid roof (reinforced concrete) with predominantly extensive greening.

The interior access area on the upper floor is illuminated by 3 large rectangular skylights. All windows and the mullion-transom facade are made of wood-aluminum elements. Inner walls are mainly made of reinforced concrete. The concrete walls facing the flight are given an exposed concrete surface. Non-load-bearing partition walls and installation walls are designed as metal stud walls with plasterboard paneling.
