Creation of a rough concept for the media terrace and chemistry infrastructure of Poppendorf as an industrial location.
The CAMPFIRE implementation project will conduct research and development of technologies for the production of ammonia, storage and conversion back to hydrogen as well as direct use in fuel cells and engines at the CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab at the site in Rostock-Poppendorf.
The implementation project is intended to serve as an initial spark for the zero-carbon hydrogen economy 2.0 on an industrial scale. In the CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab (COIL), operated by the CAMPFIRE coordinator INP, test fields and infrastructures are designed and implemented, reactors and test facilities are developed, adapted and optimized, technical support for development work is carried out and test operations are carried out. COIL will be available as a development platform for CampFire partners and TranshyDE partners during and after the project
To set up the test fields and test benches, a detailed concept for GreenChem Technology Park has to be created on the premises based on a rough concept created by the municipality of Poppendorf. For this purpose, planning services in chemical, energy and environmental technology, high-power engineering, civil engineering and pipeline system construction are to be provided.
