Alexianer St. Hedwig Kliniken Berlin GmbH is planning to convert and renovate the Monika ward building for the listed St. Hedwig Hospital. Both the functionality and the structural and technical condition must be improved.

For this are planning services of the technical equipment technical planning. §§ 53 ff. HOAI (2013), to provide system groups 4 to 6 for service phases 1 to 9.

The service will begin in November 2020, and completion is scheduled for the end of 2026. The contract term specified in Section II.2.7) does not include service phase 9 (warranty tracking).

The listed Monika House at the St. Hedwig Hospital in Berlin Mitte has a significant need for renovation. In addition to the functionality of the house, this also affects the condition of the structural and technical components.

For this are planning services for the technical equipment technical planning. §§ 53 ff. HOAI (2013), plant groups 4 to 6, for service phases 1 to 9.

The planning essentially comprises the following goals:

- Enlargement of the patient baths;

- maintaining the operation of as many beds as possible during the construction work;

- ensure flexibility for future usage adjustments;

- Concerning. the floor use was initially determined:

—— UG: keep existing functions of the UG, otherwise changing staff; basements of the former boiler house are also available for the TGA.

—— EC: psychiatric care;

—— 1st floor - 3rd floor: somatic care;

—— DG: Exam and service rooms (one wing each);

Changes are possible in the course of planning.

- The psychiatric ward on the ground floor is primarily to be accessed via the middle staircase. The remaining floors will continue to be accessed via the main house;

- The existing supply elevator on the north facade will be renewed. An external elevator between the exterior and the ground floor is to be added to improve the barrier-free access of the entire house.

The total cost of the measure amounts to around EUR 20 300 000 (gross) for the cost groups 200 to 700, including the provision for unforeseen services or costs (UV). The project is being realized with funds.
