This contract will be for Total Waste Management Services.
This contract agreement will manage all waste streams from cradle to grave and is intended to be a partnership contract between the Bedford Hospital NHS Trust, Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and suppliers/bidders should be aware that this service provision, must address carbon reduction opportunities and the sustainability agenda by minimising waste and providing this service as environmentally friendly.
Submitting their bids contractors should place particular emphasis on how the service will be provided and how bidders will assist the Trust in meeting the NHS Carbon Reduction Strategy.
This procurement will follow the Competitive Dialogue Process for procurement of an outsourced Total Waste Management Service for Bedford NHS Trust Hospital, Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and suppliers.
Bidders are to indicate their proposals for meeting the requirements of the tender documentation, together with costs returned on the attached Form of Tender.
The total workload is to be assessed by the Bidder. Bidders must visit the sites prior to tendering in order to establish the acceptability of their proposed methods of collection and disposal.
