The subject of the contract is the successive collection and management of 16 000 Mg (+/-20%) stabilized municipal sewage sludge, with the code 19 08 05, from the Sewage Treatment Plant in Rzeszów at 7a Ciepłownicza Street, in compliance with the requirements set out in the provisions of the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1587), hereinafter referred to as the "Act on waste" and the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 6 February 2015 on municipal sewage sludge (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 23).
1) The subject of the contract is the successive collection and management of 16 000 Mg (+/-20%) stabilized municipal sewage sludge, with the code 19 08 05, from the Sewage Treatment Plant in Rzeszów at 7a Ciepłownicza Street, in compliance with the requirements set out in the provisions of the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1587), hereinafter referred to as the "Act on waste" and the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 6 February 2015 on municipal sewage sludge (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 23).
2) Characteristics of waste to be managed.
a) Sludge may be used for the purposes specified in Article 96(1)(3) of the Waste Act, i.e. for the cultivation of plants not intended for consumption and for the production of feed.
b) The Ordering Party stipulates that the given amount of sludge intended for management is an estimate and depends on the quantity and quality of sewage flowing to the treatment plant as well as on the degree of dewatering of municipal sewage sludge.
c) Sludge generated in the Sewage Treatment Plants in Rzeszów is in a greasy form.
d) In terms of bacteriological, parasitological and heavy metal content, municipal sewage sludge produced in the sewage treatment plant meets the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 6 February 2015 on municipal sewage sludge (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 23). The characteristics of the physical, chemical and bacteriological properties of stabilized municipal sewage sludge constitute Annex 5 to this Specification of Essential Terms of the Contract.
