Shropshire Council is seeking a contractor for the supply and delivery of greengroceries to various Shropshire Council establishments commencing on 1.7.2020 for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2-year period.

Shropshire Council is seeking a contractor for the supply and delivery of greengroceries for an initial period of 2 years commencing on 1.7.2020 with the option to extend for a further period of 2 years.

Greengroceries are required to be delivered on a regular basis to sites across Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, North Wales and the West Midlands in line with the requirements of the Council and the specifications included in the tender. The delivery has been split into 4 lots and tenderers may tender for one, more than one or all of these lots.

The contract will consist of 4 lots:

Lot A: Shropshire;

Lot B:Hereford and Worcestershire;

Lot C: Walsall, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton;

Lot D: North Wales.

The Council reserves the right to change, withdraw or include establishments on a temporary or permanent basis to this arrangement as necessary. Further sites may be added, and others removed during the duration of this contract dependant on operational requirements.
