Weston Area Health NHS Trust is looking to procure an automated pharmacy dispensing system, with an essential requirement being the proven ability to interface with the JAC pharmacy computer system.
The output capacity should achieve a minimum of at least 200 pre-labelled packs per hour (or 300 packs per hour unlabelled) and have the capability to automatically apply a full patient and product specific label and should have the facility to produce the product bar code to the dispensed pack which is GSI compliant.
The system must be capable of dispensing pharmaceuticals in their original packs, must be able to dispense part packs, must operate for both dispensing and ward-box assembly and must allow bar-code or other automated entry/refill of products.
