Supply of long life fire extinguishers and associated support.

To supply extinguishers as follows:

— P50 foam fire extinguisher (6 ltr); suitable to be used on Class A (carbonaceous) fires, Class B (flammable liquid) fires, and electric fires;

— P50 power fire extinguisher (6 kg); suitable to be used on Class A (carbonaceous) fires, Class B (flammable liquid) fires, Class C (flammable gas) fires and electric fires;

— P50 wet chemical fire extinguisher (6 ltr); suitable to be used on Class F (cooking oil) fires and live electrical equipment up to 1 000 v:

• all extinguishers to standard BS EN 3-7:2004+A1:2007 and must comply with the pressure Equipment Directive (PED) from a notified body,

• the supplier shall provide a 10-year warranty plan for replace under warranty. and a 20-year life,

• the supplier shall supply (at nil cost) P50 extinguisher training; candidate numbers to be confirmed. The service provider to provide ‘Train the Trainer’ competency course,

• the supplier shall (at nil cost) provide ‘NHS’ branding of the extinguisher to assist in prevention of theft,

• to provide associated service.
