The target of the procurement is the construction of a 110 kV power line with a length of approximately 40 km as a kvr contract, which has been fully operational. The procurement also includes the procurement and delivery of materials. The management is located in the areas of the cities of Haapajärvi and Pyhäjärvi. The power line contract consists of the Haapajärvi – P77 (Murtomäki) sections approx. 18.4 km and P77 (Murtomäki) – Ruotanen approx. 22 km.

The power line will be implemented as a 2-Duck power line, mainly with a raked column structure, with free-standing lattice poles in field areas. The route of the power line is located on a section of approx. 21 km alongside the current 110 kV power line Pyhäjärvi – Haapajärvi. The terminal portals for the Haapajärvi and Ruotanen substations are part of the substation contract, which Elenia will procure separately. The power line is put into operation in two parts. The preliminary and general design documentation of the power line is submitted during the procurement process.

The contract is based on the general contract terms of the works under the changes agreed during the procurement process YSE1998. The Selected Contractor undertakes to serve as the principal contractor, principal executor, site management obligation and site services contractor.
